A man was shot during a robbery on Houston's South Side on Nov. 5, 2026. The shooting happened around 4:30 p.m. in the 3600 block of N. MacGregor Way, according to Lt. Larry Crowson.
Crowson said the man had arranged to sell a cell phone to people he was talking to online. When it was time for the sale, at least two suspects arrived at an apartment complex and robbed him. The man was shot in the hip during the robbery.
Houston police said the man was in stable condition. He was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive. The suspects fled the scene and are not in custody.
