A'Niyah Harmon, a senior at Klein Collins High School in Spring, has been named one of the 15 best girls' basketball players in the Houston area. Harmon is committed to play at Sam Houston.
Harmon said she is an offensive threat but is working to improve her defense. She said she is more concerned with whether her team wins than with individual stats. The story notes she averages more than 20 points.
Last year, Harmon was co-MVP of her district and led the team to an undefeated record in district games. Collins reached the third round of the playoffs before Duncanville High School eliminated it in overtime by two points. Harmon said her goal this year is to have fun and make as many memories as she can before she graduates.
