The Montgomery ISD board of trustees will vote on implementing a virtual learning program at a special board meeting on Nov. 2, according to the district.
The district said the program would be a pilot for the 2027 spring semester. Its stated purposes are to test the virtual program's capabilities and to bring back former virtual students who recently left the district. The program will be open to zoned MISD students, and students who enroll will be part of class rankings.
The board will also discuss plans for zoning and boundaries across the district. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. at the MISD Career and Technical Education center, known as The DEN. The agenda is available on the district's website.
