Peace Together will hold its 2026 peace walk in Colleyville on Nov. 7. The event is an interfaith gathering that has been held annually in Tarrant County since 2018. It has been virtual since 2024, and this year marks its return as an in-person event. Christians, Jews, Muslims, members of other faith communities and freethinkers are expected to take part.

Peace Together president and founder Howard Rosenthal said the goal is to build relationships among neighbors. Participants are encouraged to walk with someone they do not know and start a conversation. Rosenthal said he started the group after he saw videos of white supremacists marching in Charlottesville, Virginia, at a 2017 rally. He said he was disturbed by the footage.

Opening ceremonies begin at 12:30 p.m. inside First United Methodist Church of Colleyville, 1000 Church St. At about 1 p.m., the 2.8-mile walk will go from the church to McPherson Park. According to the event website, a shuttle will take walkers from the park back to their cars. People can register on the website to take part.
