The League of Women Voters of Houston (LWVH) will hold a phone bank in the KPRC 2 News lobby on Election Day, Nov. 3, to answer last-minute voter questions. The group has been distributing its nonpartisan Harris County Voter Guide. Harris County has one of the longest ballots in the nation this election cycle.

Volunteers will be in the lobby from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., answering questions in English and Spanish. Alexa Murarescu, LWVH volunteer and outreach manager, said volunteers can help voters find their nearest voting location and see who is on the ballot. They can also connect voters with others for questions volunteers cannot answer.

Voters can also call 713-772-KPRC (5772) on Election Day from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Murarescu urged voters to research their choices before going to the polls. She said phones are not allowed at polling sites, so voters should write down their selections before they go.
