A new building for Redemption Hill Church is under construction in Georgetown. Church officials hope to open it in mid-July 2027, according to Trish Mixer, executive assistant to Senior Pastor Jon Payne, who confirmed the plans in an email.
The campus is across the street from East View High School at 51 Windy Hill Road. Mixer said the building will include a sanctuary, children's ministry classrooms and spaces for Bible studies, shared meals, meetings and special events. Outdoor areas are being developed, including a playground, sports courts, a volleyball court and a sports field.
Mixer said the church hopes to create a versatile campus for its growing congregation. The church currently meets at Tippit Middle School in Georgetown on Sundays at 10 a.m. Mixer said the church welcomes people who have been Christians for many years, people looking for a church home and people who want to learn more about Christianity.
