Maverick County voters who did not vote early will go to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 3. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The county said voters must cast ballots at the polling place for their precinct on Election Day. Sample ballots for all four county precincts are posted on the county elections page, and voters may bring a marked sample ballot into the booth.

The ballot includes governor, U.S. Senate, county judge, school board and hospital district board races, according to the county's sample ballots. The county judge race has Gerardo "Jerry" Morales (Democrat) and David R. Saucedo (Independent). Ricardo Ramos (Republican) and Cecilia A. Mascorro (Democrat) are running for County Court at Law judge, unexpired term.

County clerk, district clerk and county treasurer races each list one Democratic candidate, with no opponent. Which commissioner and justice of the peace races appear depends on a voter's precinct, the sample ballots show.
