The Salvation Army of El Paso will hold its annual Red Kettle Run, called "Every Step Feeds a Family," on Saturday, Nov. 7, at Braden Aboud Memorial Park, 4325 River Bend Drive. The family-friendly event includes a 5-mile run and a 1-mile walk.

Proceeds will support the organization's holiday food and shelter programs. According to The Salvation Army, the funds will help buy 400 turkeys for local families facing hardship during Thanksgiving and Christmas. The group said it served 54,814 meals and provided 20,491 nights of shelter to people in need across El Paso in 2025.

Myriam Guerrero, chair of The Salvation Army Advisory Board, said the event gives the community a way to help local families. Registration costs $35, and sponsorships start at $250. More information is available from The Salvation Army of El Paso.
