Some Big Spring residents will lose water service temporarily on Thursday, Nov. 5, while crews replace a water valve, according to the city of Big Spring.

Contractors will replace the valve at the intersection of Northwest 12th Street and Ohio Street. Customers in the surrounding area will be affected while the work is underway.

The city said water service will be restored once the replacement is complete.
