Greater Love Community Church, a new congregation started by RockPointe Church in Flower Mound, will host a Thanksgiving dinner Saturday to honor first responders, essential workers and others who serve the community. The dinner starts at 6 p.m. at the RockPointe Church West Point Building. People who want to attend must register using a registration code.
The church said the dinner is the first of several events planned before its official launch in 2027. A preview service is set for Saturday, Nov. 14, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the RockPointe campus. The first official services will be held at the RockPointe Church building starting Saturday, March 20, 2027, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
In a press release, the church said it wants to honor those who serve the community, lift them up in prayer and share a meal with them and their families before it opens its doors. People who want more information can email glccdenton@gmail.com.
