Joshua Turner, 31, of Celina, pleaded guilty on October 28 to possession of visual material depicting sexual assault. According to the Collin County District Attorney's Office, a Collin County jury sentenced him to 75 years in prison.
Celina police arrested Turner on October 19, 2025, after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that he was viewing child pornography. Police said Turner deleted evidence during the investigation. They recovered several images and videos from his devices, including material depicting the sexual assault of toddlers.
Police also found messages Turner sent to several minors on Kik, Session and Telegram. Some of the messages described sexual acts he wanted to commit against children as young as three, police said. The investigation also found that Turner had sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old girl after giving her alcohol.
District Attorney Greg Willis said in a statement that people who harm children will be held accountable.
