A truck fire on Highway 288 closed the northbound exit ramp near the Gulf Freeway in Houston on Monday afternoon, Houston TranStar reported. The agency's website said the vehicle fire was reported at about 4:30 p.m. and affected the northbound exit ramp, including the left and right interchange ramps.
Officials have not said whether anyone was injured or what caused the fire. ABC13's SkyEye13 flew over the scene and captured images of a burning pickup truck and crews responding.
The story is developing, and ABC13 said it is continuing to gather facts.
