Pearland police said a 35-year-old man was shot and killed early Sunday morning at an apartment complex in the 2400 block of Business Center Drive. Police said a suspect arrived at his ex-girlfriend's apartment and became involved in a disturbance before the shooting.
Police said Jamica Delance Scott, 32, is accused of the shooting and has been charged with murder. Police said two men involved in the disturbance tried to flee by jumping from a second-story balcony and getting into a vehicle with Scott and another person. Officers were notified of the vehicle and arrested Scott and three other people inside. Police identified the three others as Jamon Delance Scott, 30, James Undra Cooper Jr., 35, and Shanel Janaye Carter, 32. Police said all three are charged with murder for their alleged involvement in the killing.
