Early voting is now open at the Coldspring Administration Building in San Jacinto County. Both the Republican and Democratic parties of the county will hold watch parties on Nov. 3 as results begin to come in.
The Republican Party will begin its evening at 6 p.m. at its headquarters in Coldspring, with food, fellowship and live results. The Democratic Party will start at 7 p.m. at El Taquito in Coldspring, in the bar area, where live TV will be shown.
Earlier, SJC Democrats held a fundraiser on Friday at the Family Restaurant in Shepherd for Valorie Barton, candidate for District 18. The event also included artwork by T. Wyatt, with a percentage of the auction proceeds going to the fundraiser.
