A family has published a statement thanking people who supported them during a very difficult time. The family said no words could fully describe the love, kindness, generosity and support they received.
The family thanked dispatchers, neighbors, firefighters, police officers, ambulance and EMS crews, hospital staff and Life Flight teams for responding when help was needed. They also thanked Bartley Funeral Home, Ben and Neva's, Bedrock in Grand Saline, Eubanks Funeral Home, Main Street Baptist Church, Pastor David Crain, Carl McCann and the Two Fishes Project.
The statement also thanked teachers and administrators at Canton ISD and Grand Saline ISD, Olive Tree Academy and school counselors. The family said local businesses that collected donations or gave food, clothing, flowers and services were also appreciated.
