ARTS Downtown GTX is seeking funding through the Rotary Club of Galveston Island Foundation's 50th Anniversary Community Choice Grant program. The money would launch Artful Sounds, a yearlong initiative.

The program is designed to support local musicians. It also aims to bring more visitors to downtown Galveston businesses.
