Love & Care Ministries is preparing for its 27th annual Mission Thanksgiving, which is a few weeks away. The event is expected to provide food, clothing and other essentials to communities in need.

Organizers are working through logistics and coordinating the people and resources needed to serve those who rely on the annual distribution. KTXS said it expects to visit the ministry to learn more about the work behind the scenes.
