The Flying Island Music Festival starts Thursday, November 5, in Marfa. The four-day event has a lineup of more than 20 bands and is open to all ages.
The festival will be held at five venues: Larry's, the Bull Room, Marfa Spirit Co., El Cosmico and the One Fourteen space. Performers listed include Maiden, Vieux Farka Touré, The Grand Tourists, Natural Information Society and Helado Tropical, among others.
