The Sweet Enloe Opry meets every Tuesday night in Enloe, a small Delta County town at the intersection of FM 2949 and 198. Special musicians perform on the third Saturday of each month. The stage often includes several musicians who rotate during the evening, playing bluegrass, old country and gospel music.
The Opry is run by Dan Roffee in the old Enloe State Bank building. Roffee's parents loved bluegrass, and he continues that tradition. Performers mentioned in the story include Kyra, Xander and Samuel Brandi, Bo Creighton, and Robert Diers, who played a duet with 12-year-old Sayla Sienty.
During intermission, Lori Roffee, Janice Stone and Pam Stampe serve food for anyone attending. The women added the food after the Opry had been running for a while.
