The Brownwood Veterans Day program will take place Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. at the Central Texas Veterans Memorial. Brigadier General Dan Locker will serve as master of ceremonies. Brown County Judge Tom Munson will give the keynote address.
Two plaques honoring Brown County veterans will be dedicated during the program. They honor Doyle Mills, who was killed in action in Korea, and Harry Cecil Pruett of Early, who was highly decorated for his service in World War II.
The public is invited to attend.
