Laredo police arrested an off-duty U.S. Border Patrol agent after officers shut down a large Halloween party where minors were allegedly drinking, according to the Laredo Police Department. Officers responded at about 9:44 p.m. on Halloween to a report of loud music and a large gathering in the 500 block of Olimpia Bay Road. Initial calls indicated possible underage drinking at the residence.

When officers arrived, they dispersed the crowd. Investigators said they found large amounts of empty alcohol containers and numerous unopened containers throughout the property. Police identified the homeowner as 47-year-old Irma Jimenez, an off-duty Border Patrol agent.

After an investigation at the scene, Jimenez was arrested and charged with furnishing alcohol to minors, a Class A misdemeanor.
