A needle was found inside a Snickers candy bar after Halloween trick-or-treating in Crystal City, according to Precinct 2 Constable Mark A. Sanchez Jr. In a Facebook post, he said the object was found Thursday night.

The post urged everyone to stay alert, check all treats carefully, and report anything suspicious to law enforcement. "What should be a fun and memorable evening for our children should never put their safety at risk," the post said in part.
