Election day in Texas is Tuesday, Nov. 3, for the General and Joint Election. Voting runs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Registered Tarrant County voters can vote at any Vote Center within the county. The county's Early Voting Center Finder can show locations near a voter, and all centers and their addresses are listed in a document linked in the story. Expected wait times are posted online on the county's Voting Center Finder map.

Voters with questions about their ballot, voting locations or other matters were told to contact their county election office.

The state's highest-profile race is for U.S. Senate, between Ken Paxton (R) and James Talarico (D). Paxton has served as Texas Attorney General since 2014 and defeated Sen. John Cornyn in the Republican primary. Talarico, a former middle school teacher and Presbyterian seminarian, has served in the Texas House since 2018. He defeated U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett in the Democratic primary.
