Ramón Ayala Jr., the son of Tejano musician Ramón Ayala, was arrested on Friday on a sexual assault charge, according to MyRGV. The charge stems from allegations made in three lawsuits filed in February. Jail records show he was given a $2,000 bond and posted it the same day.

According to a probable cause affidavit, a Hidalgo police officer responded to a residence on June 3 about a sexual assault report. The affidavit says the victim told the officer that on Aug. 10, 2025, while aboard the tour bus "El Bravo" at Ayala Sr.'s home, Ayala Jr. sexually assaulted him without consent. The victim said he tried to resist and pushed Ayala Jr. away. After reviewing reports, witness statements and evidence, investigators determined that Ayala Jr. committed the offense, the affidavit said.

In one of the lawsuits, a plaintiff identified as John Doe No. 1 alleges that in August 2025 Ayala Jr. held him down and engaged in a sexual act by force. It is not immediately clear whether the incidents are connected.
