Unofficial results from Guadalupe, Comal, Bexar, Kendall and Hays counties show that both propositions in the proposed $567 million Comal ISD bond did not pass, according to the Community Impact report. All precincts are reporting, but the results remain unofficial until they are canvassed.

Proposition A, which would allocate $539.95 million for facilities, safety, buses, land and projected growth, had about 51,546 votes against (59.5%) and about 35,057 for (40.5%). Proposition B, which would allocate $27.04 million for technology for students and teachers, had about 51,802 votes against (59.7%) and about 34,981 for (40.3%).

Comal ISD officials had not released a statement as of press time. Earlier, district officials said they anticipate continued growth and that the bond would help fund campus and resource expansions. According to the bond website, the bond, if passed, would not affect the district's current tax rate.
