Rain began moving into the Laredo area Saturday, Nov. 7. Laredo and much of the surrounding area are under a flood watch until noon Monday, Nov. 9.
One to two inches of rain are possible Saturday night, along with a possible thunderstorm. Temperatures are expected to drop to around 66 degrees. Another 1 to 2 inches are possible Sunday, with a high around 73 degrees. More showers are expected Monday, and rain chances will linger into Tuesday.
Residents heading out Saturday evening are advised to keep an umbrella close and allow extra time on the roads. Drivers who come across a flooded road are advised to turn around.
