A large water main break has damaged the roadway on Broadway in San Antonio, forcing a complete closure. The break involves a 24-inch cast iron water main beneath the underpass on Broadway between Roy Smith and Casa Blanca.

Officials said no customers are currently without water service. The closure is expected to last several hours, and commuters are being urged to use alternate routes. There is no word yet on when Broadway will reopen.
