Election Day is Nov. 3. Voters in Pflugerville and Hutto will decide federal, statewide and local races. Local items include seats on the Pflugerville City Council and the Pflugerville ISD board of trustees, a measure to annex Pflugerville ISD into the Austin Community College taxing district, and a bond to fund a Hutto Justice Center.
Among the statewide and federal races, the U.S. Senate race includes Republican Ken Paxton and Democrat James Talarico. The Texas governor race includes Republican Greg Abbott and Democrat Gina Hinojosa.
Residents of Travis and Williamson counties can vote at any polling location in their county. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and anyone in line by 7 p.m. will be allowed to vote. Full lists of polling locations are at www.votetravis.gov and www.wilcotx.gov/elections. The ballot guide does not list every race and leaves out uncontested races.
