Midland County officials have lifted the countywide burn ban, effective immediately, after recent rainfall. The county said the rain has improved conditions across the county, which allowed the restrictions to be lifted.
The burn ban was first put in place on Oct. 1 because of dry conditions and wildfire concerns, according to county officials.
Residents are urged to use caution, monitor weather conditions and follow all applicable fire safety rules, officials said.
