The Port Aransas High School girls' varsity basketball team, the Lady Marlins, returns to the court this month. The team won the district title and finished the 2025-26 season with a 28-6 overall record, according to the Port Aransas South Jetty. The season opens with a home game on Friday.

The team lost eight seniors to graduation last year. Three players are returning this season: juniors McKennah Bacon and Addi Crouse and sophomore Autumn Lafayette.
