A store combining sweetFrog Frozen Yogurt and Wetzel's Pretzels opened in Flower Mound toward the end of October. The combo store is near the corner of FM 1171 and River Walk Drive. sweetFrog had a Flower Mound location across the street at 3871 Long Prairie Road before it closed in 2015.
Local couple Dave and Diana Stone own and operate both brands at the new store. Dave Stone said in a previous announcement that the co-brand concept brings two brands together in one convenient location. He said the owners want to create a welcoming place for families and friends.
Another Wetzel's Pretzels and sweetFrog combo store is expected to be built near Justin along Hwy 114 in southern Denton County. Eric Weigel, brand leader of Wetzel's Pretzels, said in a previous announcement that the continued expansion of the co-brand model shows the concept's versatility.
