A man was shot Tuesday morning after an encounter with a possible home intruder in northwest Harris County, the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office said. Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's office responded to the 15700 block of Misty Hollow Drive after reports of gunfire.
According to preliminary reports, a resident met an unknown person on his property, and a shooting followed. When deputies arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel also responded to the scene.
Authorities have not released details about the man's condition or what led to the shooting. The circumstances remain under investigation.
