Governor Abbott will stop at Youngblood's cafe at 620 SW 16th Ave in Amarillo this morning, starting at 9 a.m. Rep. Caroline Fairly (R-Amarillo) and District 86 candidate Holly Jeffreys are also scheduled to attend.
The Don Harrington Discovery Center is hosting adults-only movie nights tonight and tomorrow. Tonight's film is The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and tomorrow's is Scream (1996). On Sunday, the center will show Coco, a family-friendly film, in English or Spanish. Tickets are $5 to $25 and can be bought online.
A new photography exhibit, "Hiding in Plain Sight," featuring work by Ralph Duke, is on display at Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport. It will run through the new year.
