Early voting ends today in Texas, and candidates in several high-profile races have made their final pushes this week. Through Thursday, Travis County recorded 398,190 early ballots, and Williamson County reported 208,620.

In the U.S. Senate race, Democratic state Rep. James Talarico and Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton both campaigned this week. Talarico urged supporters to keep pushing in the final days. Paxton urged his supporters to turn out to vote. A Barbara Jordan Center poll puts Talarico at 49% and Paxton at 47%, a difference within the margin of error.

In the governor's race, Republican Gov. Greg Abbott is running against Democratic state Rep. Gina Hinojosa. Hinojosa said she is running for the people of Texas and pointed to public schools and working families. Abbott said affordability is a major issue and called the contrast with his opponent wide. The same poll puts Abbott at 50% and Hinojosa at 47%.

Voters can find Travis County voting locations through the county's election information. More locations are expected to open on Election Day, and voters are encouraged to check their county's election website for locations and hours. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3.
