Faith Academy Marble Falls' Lady Flames won the area volleyball championship after defeating Tomball Rosehill 3-1 on Oct. 27 in the second round of the TAPPS 3A playoffs, according to the report.
The Lady Flames finished second in District 4-3A during the regular season. Rosehill finished third in District 5-3A with an 8-4 record.
The win advances Faith Academy to the regional round. The team will play Huntsville Alpha Omega in the next round, and game details have not yet been announced.
