City and school district leaders met Wednesday and said Tuesday's election could help them during next year's Texas legislative session.
Waco city and Waco ISD officials met jointly Wednesday to discuss the results of Tuesday's election, according to the Waco Tribune-Herald.
The officials said a change from the election may move Waco and Waco ISD from a defensive position to an offensive one during the next Texas legislative session.
