The Kilgore College Longview campus has a clothing donation closet that helps students dress for everyday wear or job interviews. The closet started as a way to help speech students prepare for classroom presentations.
Tracy Fletcher, social services benefit navigator at Kilgore College, said the college wants to help when students face unexpected hardship. "We want them to be successful," Fletcher said. "We want to try to help them bridge the gap and meet the needs that they have for them and their families."
People who want to donate clothing or shoes can drop items off at the Kilgore College Longview campus or at the Devall Center on the Kilgore College main campus.
