An Abilene man is accused of possessing child sexual abuse material, according to court documents. The affidavit says police received a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on Oct. 21.
The tip identified an internet address associated with David Buchanan, the affidavit says. Buchanan consented to searches of his cellphone and computer, according to the affidavit.
A forensic examination found 90 files that detectives classified as child sexual abuse material, the affidavit says. It also reported browser history that included visits to websites with childlike animated pornography.
