Us & More, a local recovery organization, will play the Sweetwater Police Department in a kickball game called "Recovery vs. Sweetwater Police." The game is set for Saturday, October 31, at 12 p.m. at Fraley Park in Sweetwater.
Cory Fergeson, a spokesman for Us & More, said the game will be played at high noon and described it as a friendly rivalry and community celebration.
Sweetwater Police Chief Stroman said the police team is excited to interact with community members. He said the game also aims to encourage people in recovery and bring awareness to the struggles of addiction. Judge Harrison and Judge Hall will serve as guest umpires.
