At least nine people were shot and four died in multiple shootings in Dallas' Deep Ellum district early Sunday morning, according to reports. Crowds were in the bar district to celebrate Halloween at the time.

Sources said the shootings happened at three separate scenes in the area, and that the scenes are not believed to be related. Police were called to Elm Street and Good Latimer Expressway shortly after midnight. A second shooting was reported near Good Latimer Expressway, Main Street and Commerce Street shortly after 1 a.m. A third scene was on Crowdus Street between Commerce and Canton streets. Video from the scene shows a car crashed into multiple vehicles.

Officers from across the city were sent to help manage the scenes because of the large Halloween crowds, and several blocks were shut down. Police have not announced any arrests or details about the circumstances of the shootings. No information on the conditions of the victims or their names has been released.
