Members of the Greater El Paso Association of Realtors, known as GEPAR, are voting on a proposal to buy the former Del Norte Heights Elementary and use it as their headquarters. The empty school is in the Ysleta Independent School District.
The building sits on more than 2 acres and offers plenty of parking. GEPAR CEO Tony Delgado said the parking is a major selling point. The building also has a large amount of interior space that could be used for classrooms and events, and the report said it might be leased to related businesses.
