Former Turkey Leg Hut co-owner Lyndell Price has been sentenced to 105 months, or eight years and nine months, in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release, according to documents from the U.S. District Court.

Price pleaded guilty in July to conspiring to commit arson of a commercial building. Prosecutors said at the time that he admitted to directing people to set fire to Bar 5015 on Almeda Road in June 2020. Court records show his other charges related to the fire have been dropped.

In a statement posted Friday on the Instagram account for his Oyster Hut business, Price said he accepted the plea for the sake of his family and loved ones and decided against battling the unknown. The June 2020 explosion at the recently renovated bar was loud enough to wake neighbors around 4:45 a.m. No injuries were reported. The Houston Fire Department said at the time that the fire had been set intentionally. Price was one of three people arrested in April 2025, and two others have since pleaded guilty.
