A man arrested Monday in San Antonio on suspicion of driving while intoxicated is an U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer, KSAT reported, citing an unnamed law enforcement source.

According to KSAT, San Antonio police stopped Ian Rashad Tucker, 31, shortly before midnight near Interstate 10 West and Colorado Street. The station reported, citing the San Antonio Police Department, that officers saw signs of intoxication while questioning him. Bexar County jail records show Tucker was booked Tuesday and released on bond that evening, KSAT said.

An ICE spokesperson told KSAT by email that the agency does not confirm the identities of its officers. The spokesperson said ICE officers are expected to uphold the rule of law and that misconduct is investigated thoroughly, with appropriate action taken when it is substantiated.
