The Junior League of Tyler's 48th annual Mistletoe & Magic holiday market opened with a Preview Party at the W.T. Brookshire Conference Center. The event is themed "Deck the Halls" and includes more than 70 specialty merchants from across the country.
Lindsay Durr, chair of Mistletoe & Magic, said the market offers gifts and holiday decor that shoppers will not easily find in a regular store or on Amazon. She said people can also get a start on their holiday shopping before December.
The market runs through Saturday, Nov. 7. Local school groups, dance troupes and gymnastics studios are scheduled to perform during the event. Proceeds support nonprofit organizations throughout Smith County, according to the story.
