Texas high school football fans will be able to watch all 12 UIL state championship games for free through local television stations and streaming platforms, under an agreement announced Thursday. Nexstar Media Group and Mission Broadcasting will provide live coverage of the games, which are scheduled for Dec. 16-19 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The event will crown Division I and Division II champions in all six UIL classifications.

The partnership covers television stations and digital streaming platforms in 13 Texas markets, including Dallas, Houston, Austin, El Paso and Lubbock. Television coverage will vary by market, and individual games may air on local broadcasts, streaming platforms or both. According to the announcement, fans can also watch through participating stations' streaming platforms wherever they are, including outside Texas.

UIL executive director Jamey Harrison said in a press release that the championships are an important tradition for high schools and communities across Texas. The announcement follows the collapse of Victory+, which had signed a five-year agreement in 2025 to become the exclusive streaming home of the UIL football state championships.
