The Office of the Texas Secretary of State said it will publish election night results for statewide and district-level races on the evening of Nov. 3. Local races and ballot measures are listed on county websites. Counties usually report early voting and mail-in ballot results first and update totals as Election Day votes are counted.

Polls close at 7 p.m. local time on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Results often begin appearing in the statewide system around 7:30 p.m. El Paso and Hudspeth counties are in the Mountain Time Zone and cannot begin releasing results until polls close at 7 p.m. local time. Voters still in line at 7 p.m. will be allowed to vote, which may delay reporting from some locations.

The office said it does not predict or call election results, and all election night results are unofficial. Counties count ballots and report results. Totals may differ between county and state websites for a time, and provisional ballots and ballots from military and overseas voters may be counted after Election Day under state and federal law.
