Meals on Wheels of Odessa said it is partnering with H-E-B to provide a special holiday meal to its homebound senior and disabled clients. The meal is part of the 24th Annual H-E-B Feast of Sharing, and the group said it lets clients take part even if they cannot attend in person.
The organization said it serves a nutritious meal Monday through Friday to more than 900 homebound seniors and disabled clients in the Odessa area. Each client also receives a loaf of bread each week through a long-standing partnership with H-E-B.
Craig Stoker, executive director of Meals on Wheels of Odessa, thanked H-E-B for sponsoring the meal. He said he expects clients to appreciate it as the holiday season approaches.
