The Pampa Harvesters will play the West Plains Wolves (5-4, 3-1) on Thursday night in the final game of the 2026 season. Pampa is 0-9 overall and 0-4 in district play. Head coach Floyd White said the team has shown heart, determination and a refusal to quit, qualities he said do not always show up on the scoreboard.
After a difficult first half against Canyon, Pampa improved after halftime and scored on several drives. White said the halftime message was to focus on the next play rather than the score. Junior kicker Brayan Montelongo missed a field goal in the first half, then made his next attempt. Junior quarterback Jeryn Owens scored on a 75-yard run, and sophomore running back Colton Rose scored in the closing seconds.
White said Rose fought through several defenders on his final run, even though the outcome was already decided. "They're going to continue to fight," White said. "That's what I'm most proud about with our kids."
