Terrell clinched the District 6-5A championship with a 47-25 win over Marshall in Terrell. The Tigers improved to 8-1 overall and 6-0 in district play. Marshall fell to 3-6 overall and 2-4 in district games.
Jack Weaver completed 7 of 13 passes for 74 yards with a touchdown and an interception for Marshall. Justin Lattin ran 22 times for 121 yards and a touchdown. Aidyn Green caught four passes for 79 yards, and Ridge Martinez had two catches for 72 yards.
Louis Tennison led the defense with 11 tackles, and Ayden Thompson had nine. The two teams last met in 1920, when Marshall won 34-0 to claim a district title.
