Shackelford County voters favored Republican candidates in the 2026 midterm election, according to the local report.

A total of 1,308 local voters cast ballots. About 72 percent voted early or by absentee ballot. Early voting accounted for 879 ballots, election day for 365, and absentee ballots for 64.
